Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we hold when you shop with us, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Information we collect

When you place an order we collect the details needed to fulfil it: your name, delivery address, email address and, where the courier requires it, a telephone number. The first is required to send you anything; the second is used in aggregate to see which listings people actually read. We do not ask for information we have no use for.

How we use it

Order details are used to pick, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you if something about it needs confirming. Email addresses are used for order updates and, only if you opted in, occasional newsletters. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.

Cookies and measurement

Cookies here do three jobs: keeping your cart contents while you browse, recording your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear, and measuring which pages are visited. None of them build an advertising profile, and blocking them in your browser will not prevent checkout from working.

Sharing, and who processes data for us

We share the minimum necessary with the companies that make an order happen — payment processing, delivery and transactional email. Card numbers are entered on the payment provider's own interface and never reach our servers, so we could not store them if we wanted to.

Retention and your choices

Order records are kept for as long as accounting rules require, then deleted. You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to delete anything that is not part of a required record. Write to the address in the footer and we will answer within a few business days.

Your rights over your information

Access and correction

You can ask for a copy of your personal data at any time and we will provide it in a readable form. Corrections are made as soon as we have confirmed the right value: a delivery address that has changed, a name spelled differently, an email you no longer use. There is no charge for a first request, and you do not need an account to make one — the order number from a confirmation email is enough for us to find you.

Deletion and objection

You can ask us to delete your details, and we will do so except for the order records we are obliged to keep for tax purposes. Where an accounting rule applies, we explain which part must stay and for how long, then remove everything else.

Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions that affect your order. The only check of that kind is basic payment screening, and any block it raises is reviewed by a person who can reverse it — ask us and we will explain the reason in plain terms.

How we keep it safe

Security in practice

International transfers

Because we ship internationally, your delivery details may be processed outside your own country by the carrier handling the parcel. That transfer is limited to the address and contact details the carrier needs to complete the delivery, and nothing else travels with it.

Children

This shop is intended for adults. If you think a minor has given us their details, write to us and we will delete them without argument.

Other things worth knowing

Changes to this policy

This page is the current statement of what we do. If it is revised, the revision appears here rather than in a separate notice, and orders already placed continue to be handled under the policy that applied when they were made.

How to reach us

Questions about privacy go to the address in the footer and are answered by a person, not a ticket queue. Replies come from someone who can see your order history, so you do not have to explain the situation twice.
